Walnut Canyon NM - Flagstaff

Walnut Canyon National Monument -- is located just east of Flagstaff, Arizona. The trail walks by cliff dwellings built on various levels of the canyon walls. These were inhabited more than 700 years ago because of the presence of water in the canyon. ( http://www.nps.gov/waca/index.htm )
